LOGAN BERRIES
The Loganberry is a classic bramble hybrid (a cross between a blackberry and a red raspberry) that produces striking deep wineāred berries with a rich, tangyāsweet flavour and firm texture. It grows on vigorous, caneātype plants with trailing or semiāerect habitāideal for a trellis or fence in a home garden. This variety brings an early to midsummer harvest, and its fruit is excellent for eating fresh, making jam, syrup or baking. With roots stretching back to 1881 in California (thanks to James Harvey Logan), it offers both history and highāgarden interest.
