Solanum retroflexum

This unique member of the nightshade family produces a prolific crop of black fruit on annual plants growing to 1m tall. The berries, up to 1 cm in size, have a tangy sweet flavour and can be eaten fresh, in jams or in pies. Will self-seed readily.
