Callistephus chinensis

Elegant, long-lasting 2-3" blooms on long wavy stems. They bloom in late summer and through the autumn when many other flowers have faded. Asters make a great cut flower, lasting for days in a vase. Start indoors for 6-8 weeks before the last frost and harden them off for approx. 10 days before setting out in a sunny location.

Sowing depth: For tiny seed cover very lightly, otherwise sow no deeper than 2-4 times the seed diameter.
