Tulip - Mystic Van Eijk, 6 Pack

SINGLE LATEĀ - MYSTIC VAN EIJK

  • Great for cut flowers
  • Zone 3
  • Plant Sept-Dec
  • Blooms Jan-Mar

Also known as ā€˜Single Late Tulips’ the Mystic Van Eijk are cup or ā€˜goblet’ shaped tulips that can be found in almost any colour! This tulip variety is one of the tallest of its kind with blooms that appear in January-March. Plant bulbs 6 inches deep and 4 inches apart in September or October, ensuring that soil has good drainage. Add a balanced bulb fertilizer to soil for the best chance of blooms returning the following year. These flowers can reach 20 inches tall at maturity and they make a romantic addition to any garden or cut-flower arrangement. Tulips like full-to-part sun and they aren’t fans of excessive heat. Zone 3 is the optimal choice, but spots with shade or less sun will work for warmer areas like zones 7 or 8. Note that tulips are not deer-resistant, and pets should be kept away due to toxicity.
